What We Believe

Zion Community Church is a nondenominational Christian church. Read our Statement of Faith below:

Statement of Faith

We believe in the one true living God, existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in God the Father, Creator of all, who lovingly provides for all His people.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and our Lord and Savior.
We believe the Holy Spirit is the personal God, present with his people.
We believe the Bible, as contained in the Old and New Testament, is the inerrant, inspired and infallible Word of God.
We believe mankind is sinful, therefore separated from God and in need of salvation. God by his grace freely offers redemption to all who believe through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe the church is the body of all believers in Jesus Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God through worship, teaching, serving, disciplining and proclaiming the Gospel, thereby strengthening all people in their faith.
We believe God designed the family to be a marriage between a man and a woman, with lifelong faithfulness to the marriage. The family unit exemplifies God’s command toward spiritual growth and discipleship.
We believe human life begins at conception and must be protected so that the individual can fulfill God’s preordained plan, to love God first and to love their neighbor as themselves.
We believe in the personal, visible and imminent return of Jesus Christ to this earth, thereby completing God’s promise of eternal life for all believers.
